Billy Joel tribute band We May Be Right is ready to play you a memory (or two) at a special fine wine and music-filled afternoon at the Inn at Millrace Pond on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Featuring the tunes of Billy Joel and light jazz by Loose Measure, the event’s $19.95 ticket price includes a glass of wine and a sampling of domestic cheese and rustic bread. The setting is under the Inn’s big tent, on the bed and breakfast’s picturesque grounds.
Loose Measure will begin at 2 p.m. with We May Be Right to follow. The event will run until approximately 6 p.m.
Hunterdon County based We May Be Right plays a host of Billy Joel’s hit tunes, including “Uptown Girl,” “Piano Man,” and “Only the Good Die Young,” to name a few.
A reporter from NJ.com who saw the band in Clinton, said that “if I hadn’t known better I would have sworn the man from Oyster Bay had paid Clinton a visit. The sound was almost indistinguishable from Billy Joel himself. The band put on quite a show.”
Gates open at 1 p.m. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the Inn, in the Village of Hope, or by phone, (908) 459-4884. Reservations are recommended.
