The Warren Hills GlamourGals Service club recently had its first visit to Warren Haven nursing home this year.

A total of 17 students visited with 28 senior citizens. The students brought a lot of joy and excitement to the residents at the home. The GlamourGals club plans to visit Warren Haven on the first Saturday of every month until June.

GlamourGals is a national organization with more than 100 chapters. The club’s mission is to provide companionship, makeovers and activities to local senior citizens to help bridge the gap of elder isolation.

The Warren Hills chapter, run by teacher Julia Henning, began last year. This year there have been over 40 different students who have attended the planning meetings.
