Weekend Of ‘Fear’ & Fun Coming To Wild West City

Join Wild West City when it transforms into a family-friendly ghost town of horrors for Mr. Hush Weekend of Fear Part III this October.

Featuring all the fun of Wild West City—with a ghoulish twist—this three-day celebration of the horror, sci-fi, and pop culture genres allows visitors to meet celebrity guests, stock up on toys, comic books, and merchandise, and experience the replica Old West city like never before: Halloween-style.

Running the weekend of October 19-21, Weekend of Fear has something for every member of the family. Tots can trick-or-treat in-costume and then catch a haunted train ride. The ghosts in the haunted graveyard make for great companions while watching ongoing film screenings. Other activities include a Zombie Walk and fun twists on Wild West classics, such as Monster Can-Can Dancers.

Celebrity guests include horror cowboy John Bloom, aka Joe Bob Briggs, (host of TNT’s MonsterVision, Casino, The Stand); director John McNaughton, one of the original “Masters of Horror,” making his first ever convention appearance; Stephen Geoffreys (Fright Night [1985] and 976-EVIL); Brad Loree (Halloween: Resurrection); Kevin Van Hentenryck (Basket Case 1, 2, & 3, Brain Damage, The Absence of Light); Scott Schiaffo (Clerks, Vulgar); and director Stevan Mena (Brutal Massacre and the Malevolence film series). A special screening of the most recent Malevolence film will be offered on-site.
