Warren Community College showed that it’s never too late to celebrate graduation. This year’s commencement, held on June 26, combined grads from 2020 and 2021. Many of the 2020 graduates have gone on to 4-year colleges but were thrilled to be part of WCC’s commencement. Commencement for the 2020 graduates did not take place originally due to COVID. In addition to receiving their degrees the participating graduates received citations from legislators of the 23rd District, Sen. Michael Doherty, and Assemblymen John DiMaio and Erik Peterson, recognizing their perseverance during a challenging time. Photos by Cathy Miller.
