Warren County Community College’s Continuing Education Department recognizes the importance of grant writing particularly in this day and age of non-profit endeavors, and as such, is now offering two seminars intended to give individuals an opportunity to learn how to go after them.
Grant Writing Seminar I: The Nuts & Bolts, takes place on Friday Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Grant Writing Seminar II: Comprehensive Approach to Writing & Winning Grants, a perfect follow-up to the first seminar, is scheduled for Friday Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both courses will be held at the College’s Phillipsburg Education Center, 445 Marshall Street. Cost for each of the seminars is $79.
The first course provides attendees with an overview of grant writing from start to finish. The second seminar goes much more in-depth and the scope of what is involved, from budgeting to outcomes. Those who may already have a general understanding of grant writing are eligible to sign up for the second seminar.
