In a recent study of college campus safety, Warren Community College (WCC) was ranked as the No. 2 safest among community colleges, public colleges and universities, and non-profit independent colleges and universities in New Jersey.
The study, conducted by stateuniversity.com, was based on available crime statistics on or near college campuses.
“We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for our students,” said Dr. Will Austin, President of WCC. “We work hard to ensure that our students feel safe from the moment they come on campus to the moment they leave.”
Overall, WCC was also ranked among the top 20 safest community colleges in the United States.
“That is truly amazing and definitely deserves a shout-out to our security team,” said Dr. Austin. That team is led by Melvin Warren, Coordinator of Public Safety
