What to do when storm warnings arise? How should you prepare your business for the worst?
Stan Prater of JCP&L will offer tips and suggestions at the Washington Business Improvement District’s Oct. 11 Lunch ‘N Learn on how businesses, as well as homeowners, can be best prepared in the event a bad storm is expected to hit the area.
In addition, Prater will offer suggestions on how to best alert JCP&L specific issues to your business or neighborhood. He will go over website, apps and other avenues in which to keep in contact with JCP&L and other officials during – and after – a storm event.
“Preparing Your Business For A Storm” will take place at Enzo’s Pasta Grill, Route 57, Washington, beginning at 11:45 on Thursday Oct. 11. The luncheon will conclude by 1 p.m.
Advanced registrations are recommended by going to the Washington BID website, www.washingtonbid.org. Cost is just $15 in advance, which includes lunch, or $20 at the door.
