Partnering with Operation Jersey Cares, the Washington Business Improvement District in conjunction with several businesses in the Borough, recently wrapped up a campaign to collect items requested by our troops, including food, toiletries, and other everyday necessities.  In the photo, Vito Abrusci (left) checks out some of the hundreds of items with WBID Executive Director John Monteverde that were donated by folks in the area. Among the businesses that collected items for the troop care packages were ARCANA Toys, Games & Gifts, The Chocolate shoppe, Washington Kid Care, HairMazing, Fliegauf Jewelers, Smith Motors, Mae’s Place, and Good Impressions. Monteverde offered his thanks to everyone who participated, collected, and donated items for this worthy cause.
