Josephine Noone, Volunteer Coordinator of the Washington Business Improvement District’s weekly Farmers Market from June through September, was recognized at a recent WBID Board of Director meeting by the group for her efforts in making the market such a huge success. Here, she is presented a plaque by WBID Executive Director John Monteverde. Noone, a Washington Borough Councilwoman, is also the council’s representative on its Board of Directors. Noone credits the Farmers Market success on the participation of several Washington Green Team members who help out.
