Guy’s Auto Service in Washington Borough was the backdrop this week for a car-related TV commercial. A film crew spent the entire day at the iconic, retro looking filling station on West Washington Avenue (Route 57).
The filling station dates back to 1922. It was bought by the original Guy around 60 years ago and is currently run by his son, also named Guy, according to the business. In addition to the classic exterior, the pumps at Guy’s are vintage, too, with one dating as far back as the 1950s.
