Looking to finish off the Farmers Market season with a flourish, the Washington Business Improvement District, in conjunction with the Borough Green Team, is hosting a Farmer Market Season-Ending Grand Finale event on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The “action” by the Downtown Pocket Park will include the Farmers Market, live music featuring area favorites, Southbound, and a tribute to pets for Pet Appreciation Day.
The Grand Finale event caps a terrific season for the award-winning Farmers Market.
Farmers Market hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Music on Oct. 3 kicks off at 10:30 with the Bob Lanza Band and then southern rockers, Southbound, perform from 1-3 p.m.
Attendees are invited to purchase a host of fresh and delicious locally-grown vegetables and fruits for home, as well as dine in any one of the downtown area restaurants, including Lost Ladies, William’s Irish Tavern, Empanada Mamasita, Juanito’s Mexican, and the newest one, 214 Farm to Table.
