Washington BID Hosts 13th Annual Car Show

Many people do not consider the number 13 a very lucky number however, for the Washington Business Improvement District (Washington BID) it was, as it recently hosted its 13th annual car show in downtown Washington.

At this year’s show participants and local residents enjoyed live music, a DJ, raffles, great food, a farmer’s market and more. “It’s nice to come out on a nice day, sit around, talk about cars and see what everyone else is bringing out.” noted Washington resident and one of the show winners, Scott Hasko.

This year’s winners included: Muscle Car, 1969 Chevy Camaro Super Sport – Chris Ederer, Budd Lake; Rarest, 1948 Willys Jeep (military) – Robert Germinsky, Asbury; Hot Rod, 1933 Willys Model 77 Coupe – Scott Hasko, Washington; Cruiser, 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo – Daniel Burkard, Blairstown; People’s Choice, 1940 Ford Four Door Deluxe, Elmer Hendershot, Whippany; Pre-1940 Ford Vicky, John Mele, Basking Ridge; and Foreign Exotic, 1967 MG B, Rudy Bischerer, Washington.
