Warren Community College’s nursing program has been cited by numerous publications and organizations in the past several years as among the elite nursing programs in New Jersey, as well as in the United States.
Warren, which has earned No. 1 rankings throughout, recently was awarded another No. 1.
Based on its annual rankings of nursing programs on the 1st time test taker pass rates on the NCLEX over an eight year period of time, the highly regarded website, National Schools Almanac, has determined that Warren is No. 1 in their rankings of Associate Degree Nursing programs (ADN) in New Jersey. The ranking was based on figures compiled from 2013-2020.
“I am ecstatic that our program has earned this ranking,” said the Director of Warren’s nursing program, Patricia Stypolkowski, MSN-Ed, RN, CNE. “This is not only an accomplishment of the nursing program but of the college community as a whole. It also demonstrates how determined our students are to achieve their goals.”
Christopher McMillen, Editor in chief of nusringschoolsalmanac.com, noted that Warren reached No. 1 through an assessment methodology that covered several points of accomplishment.
This is the latest of many high rankings Warren’s nursing program has received in the past few years . Last year it was named “Best Value” in North Jersey.
“The college couldn’t be more proud of our nursing program,” said Dr. Will Austin, President of Warren. “What they’ve achieved over the years is phenomenal.”
