The Warren Hills Drama Club will perform “The Bold, The Young and The Murdered” for its fall drama this year.
Written by Don Zolidis, the play is a whodunnit set against the backdrop of a long-running soap opera that is in its last days. The soap’s cast includes a hunky hero with self-esteem issues, a villainous old man who is more interested in soup, and heroines who are slightly psychopathic. But, after the executive producer demands that the squabbling cast complete one episode overnight or the show dies, the director ends up murdered. And then cast members start to drop like flies. Can this group of misfits discover the murdered before the show is literally killed off?
Shows will be performed at 7 p.m. Nov. 14-16 in the high school auditorium, 41 Jackson Valley Road, Washington.
Tickets are $14 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.
