This lively program is appropriate for adults, teens, and children 6+ Celtic Concert with Charlie Zahm @ Southwest Branch: Wednesday, March 12th, from 6:00pm-7:00pm A wonderful celebration of all things Irish-just in time for Saint Patrick’s Day! Charlie Zahm has been performing Celtic and maritime music for more than 30 years. Made possible by funds from the Warren County Division of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council of the Arts, and the Southwest Friends of the Warren County Library. Read to a Pup @ Northeast Branch: Saturday, March 15th, from 11:00am-12:00pm Read your favorite book to a therapy pup! Don’t worry – these pups love to be read to by children of all ages and reading levels. Please call 908-813-3858 to register for a 10 minute time slot. Read to a Pup @ Southwest Branch: Wednesday, March 19th, from 4:30pm-5:30pm We will be joined by a Labrador puppy in training to become a Seeing Eye guide dog! Children who are independent readers can sign up for one 10 minute session. This program is appropriate for children in grades 1st-4th. Gardner Branch: Tuesday, March 25th, from 4:30pm-5:30pm Want to make a plushie? Kids ages 10-18 with basic crochet knowledge are invited to come the last Tuesday each month to crochet with Miss Amy, with step by step directions to complete crochet plushies. Note, some projects will take longer than one session to complete. |

Fondly remembered today by many who grew up in the tri-state area, the 1964/65 New York World’s Fair attracted 50 million visitors, and it wasn’t even an officially sanctioned world’s fair.
