Warren County Administration Building to Highlight Hospice with Memorial Tree Lighting

The Wayne Dumont Jr. Warren County Administration Building will be one of three sites for the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Lights of Life Memorial Tree Lighting on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m.

The Dumont Building, 165 County Route 519 South, Belvidere (White Township) joins sites in Sussex County and Pike County, Pa.

Each of the memorial services features guest readers, including area leaders, hospice employees, volunteers and family members. At the conclusion of each of the Lights of Life presentation, a memorial tree will be lit to commemorate the loved ones lost. The thousands of white lights and decorative stars throughout the three counties represent donations sent to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in memory of a family member or friend. “We are pleased to welcome families to gather with us once again this year at one of our event locations. These are very special evenings for so many and each are highlighted with music and thoughtful reflections,” stated Julia Quinlan, Co-Founder and President of Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice.

The hospice offer a virtual presentation on Tuesday evening, December 7. Donors and those receiving acknowledgements of a Lights of Life Memorial gift will be sent the Zoom information to view and share. To accommodate supporters that do not have computer access there will be a DVD of the Lights of Life virtual presentation for $9.99 which covers the tax, shipping and handling. “The memorial service and tree lightings provide a meaningful way for people to come together and share the emotions commonly experienced throughout the holidays, said Louis Ruggiero, President of Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, an event sponsor for 30 years.

The memorial campaign offers three levels of participation. For $200, one loved one’s name will be memorialized through the stars on the trees. The donor will receive a commemorative Lenox ornament, memorial keepsake, and Lights of Life DVD of the virtual presentation. Donors at this level are asked to submit a photo of the loved one being remembered to be included in the event program and DVD presentation. For a $100 Lenox Sponsorship, one loved one’s name will be memorialized and highlighted in the event program. Donors will also receive the 2021 Commemorative Lenox ornament. With a $20 donation, donors will have their loved one’s name remembered. With each donation, participants can send an acknowledgement with a memorial keepsake to a designated recipient.
