Dr. James Fedich, owner and clinical director of Village Family Clinic, has been honored by the Allamuchy Township Fire Department for his longtime commitment to the community.
Dr. Fedich was presented with a plaque at the firemen’s annual fundraiser golf outing at Panther Valley Country Club on Aug. 7.
Fire Department Chief Rick Lomonaco noted that Dr. Fedich is always there for the community. “I’ve never heard him say no,” he said. “He touches so many lives and deserves recognition.”
“I am really humbled by the honor,” Dr. Fedich said afterwards. “But I’ve always believed it’s important to give back to the community. If you work in a community you need to be part of the community.”
Village Family Clinic is involved in numerous fundraisers and local events throughout the year. The clinic itself runs food drives for people – and pets – and blood drives annually, as well as many other initiatives that help others.
Proceeds from the golf outing helped to create a scholarship program in the memory of James Powderley, a former Assistant Chief with the Allamuchy Township Fire Department.
Village Family Clinic has been in Allamuchy for many years. Formerly in the Panther Valley Mall, Village Family Clinic is now located at 1500 Route 517, in the Allamuchy Corporate Center, Suite 108, a half-mile north of Mattar’s.
