Oxford Central School teachers Rachel Chiara and Renee Hart have been named 2017 award recipients through the Governor’s Educators of the Year program, according to School Administrator Bob Magnuson. Chiara (left in the photo above), the speech and language specialist at OCS, is a graduate of Marywood College and has been teaching in Oxford for four years. She spends much of her extra time volunteering to support students activities. Hart (on the right) teaches physical education and health. She is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and has been at OCS for 11 years. Hart is an active member of the Red Ribbon Committee and the Above the Influence Club.
