HKTWN…Live Concerts takes on a new look this year as it’s all music, all day happening in one spot.

This one day event, scheduled for Saturday June 9, is Hackettstown’s own kickoff of the summer music season. 

This year the Concerts will all be performed under a large tent set in the parking lot between Blue Ridge Lumber and Domino’s Pizza with the main access off of Liberty Street. The local community will be able to enjoy a variety of FREE music from contemporary rock, while exploring local businesses, restaurants and breweries. HKTWN…Live concerts on one super stage!

 This year’s lineup: 

1-3pm –  Kevin D – Kevin D loves his country and he loves to play his country even more. Formerly with the Whiskey Crossing Band, Kevin is a frequent performer in area venues, as a solo, duo, and sometimes more! A late bloomer of sorts, Kevin has come a long way in just a couple of years.  

3-5pm –  Electric Gumbo – Electric Gumbo, fronted by Hackettstown area favorite Caren Kennedy, plays a vast selection of dance-able music spanning the past three decades. Several members of the band have also played with Cairo and Geerbox, two bands with their own distinct styles.  

5-7pm –  Carol Fredericks & The Dirty Jersey Band – Carol Fredericks & The Dirty Jersey Band knows how to bring it on led by their eclectic front woman Carol Fredericks. Churning out blues and rock with emotion and power it is hard to not shake and shuffle with this band kicking it up.   

7-9pm –  Trevor B Power Band – Trevor B Power Band mixes blues and rock, with their own twist on old favorites and adding a few originals, too. 

This free event is perfect for residents, families, students, and visitors to enjoy Hackettstown’s offerings through live entertainment featured among local businesses.
