Off Shore Marine of Branchville launched its “Stuff the Boat” initiative to benefit Project Self-Sufficiency’s annual Season of Hope Toy Drive for the benefit of children in Sussex, Warren and Northern Morris counties.
Area residents may bring gift cards, money and new, unwrapped toys to the business at 352 Route 206. The goal is to fill a 2022 MasterCraft XT21, a 21-foot ski and wakeboard boat. Members of the fire departments in Branchville, Frankford, and Sussex, along with the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad, Frankford Fire Department, Sussex Fire Department Emergency Medical Service, the Sussex Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Sussex Kiwanis Club, and Royal Buick GMC of Sussex are also gathering items on behalf of Off Shore Marine. Drive will accept toy donations through Wednesday, Dec. 15.
“We have been very blessed in our lives, and we have the opportunity to share these blessings,” remarked Off Shore Marine owner Sherri Cecchini.
“This unique collaboration between local businesses and area first responders perfectly demonstrates the true spirit of giving during this holiday season,” commented Deborah Berry-Toon, Executive Director of Project Self-Sufficiency.
Toys, gift cards and monetary donations may be brought to Project Self-Sufficiency, 127 Mill St., Newton, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To donate online, or for more information, visit www.projectselfsufficiency.org or call 973-940-3500.
