Healthcare professionals struggling with their keyboard typing skills can take part in a one morning course at the Warren County Community College Phillipsburg Education Center this Thursday, Sept. 10. Aimed at increasing speed and efficiency, Keyboarding Skills for Healthcare Professionals responds to an increase in demand for skilled typists in the healthcare fields.

Ideal for pharmacy techs, dialysis techs, medical assistants, etc., this three hour course will review the basics of typing, including hand positioning and proper technique.

Students who will benefit most from this class will have a typing speed of 35 words per minute or less.

This hands-on course will run from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.  Cost of the class is only $35, and tuition assistance is available for those who receive Health Profession Opportunity Grants.
