They Tell Me I Should Write, But What Do I Say?
The topic of this month’s Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce Lunch & Learn will offer thoughts on what to write for business websites, blogs, or e-newsletters.
The Tuesday, Feb. 28, Lunch ‘N Learn is scheduled for Adam’s Bagel and Bakery, Rt. 46, Budd Lake, starting at 11:45 a.m. The event is open to the public.
Small business owners hear it over and over again. ‘You need a website,’ or a blog, or an e-newsletter. But where are you supposed to come up with all these words? And what should you talk about? And really, who has time for all that writing?
In this Lunch and Learn, Sue Toth of Sue Toth Writing and Editing Services will cover this and more:
• How to speak to customers through a website, blog, or newsletter
• How to come up with ideas for enticing blogs and newsletters
• How to grab readers’ attention in the first paragraph of a piece
• How often to write
Cost for the event is $15 for MOACC members and $20 for non-members if pre-paid. $5 will be added to the cost if paying at the door.
Spots can be reserved at www.mountolivechambernj.com
The Mount Olive Chamber includes businesses from the Greater Mount Olive region, including Hackettstown.
