The House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community in Hackettstown has always been proud of its long-standing tradition of retaining staff. To celebrate, The House annually honors its “milestone employees.” Leading this year’s honorees are Mary Hilscher and Gudelia Gonzalez, both of whom have worked there for 20 years.
“Two very, very dedicated employees,” said Deborah Beards, CEO at The House. “Mary and Guidelia truly epitomize loyalty and we appreciate everything they’ve done for us.”
Hilscher works in administration at The House while Gonzalez is the Director of Environmental Services.
Beards, who marked her fifth year at The House, also expressed appreciation to the other honorees, including 15-year employees Ann Marie Gall, Administration, and Jasmin Schelling, Nursing. Sergio Guaman, Dietary, was also recognized for his 10 years of service.
Christine Weiss, Administration, Selimy Mensah, Nursing, Craig Stroud, Environmental Services, and Patrick Hill, Dietary, were cited for their five years with The House.
“We really do have dedicated employees,” said Beards, “and they all have the same goal: to ensure the well-being of our residents.”
