This weekend, sip award-winning New Jersey wine and local craft beer while taking in the autumn weather and rolling scenery at Rutherfurd Hall in Allamuchy. This Sunday, Sept. 25, the 9th Annual Grand Harvest Wine & Music Festival offers all this to the sounds of some of the top local musical acts.

The popular festival, which will run from noon to 5 p.m., supports NORWESCAP and The Arc of Warren County.

Music by renowned local musicians will include Electric Gumbo, Steve Kirchuk Band, Pentley Holmes, Grace Jensen, and The BanjoDoodles. Upscale food trucks, quality food and craft vendors, and Rutherfurd Hall tours will also be offered throughout the day.

Wine tastings are being offered by Brook Hollow Winery, Villa Milagro Winery, Cava Winery and Vineyard, and Ventimiglia Winery and Vineyard, with bottled wine available for purchase. The tastings, including a commemorative etched wine glass, are included with the ticket price (for those over 21).

Jon Male, senior vice president for PNC Bank and event founder, designed the day to be a rich, family-oriented afternoon that promotes and supports the work of NORWESCAP and The Arc of Warren County.

Free shuttle bus service is available from the Panther Valley Mall, and special preferred parking passes are available for a $25 fee at The Arc, NORWESCAP offices, Panther Valley Pharmacy & Gifts, and WRNJ Radio.

Morning personality Mel Thiel of WNTI .org will serve as emcee during the festival, and the WNTI Street Team will assist with parking and ticket sales.

Tickets are available at a number of locations through Sept.23 at $25, and guests under the age of 21 are admitted free of charge. No pets or outside alcohol and other refreshments are permitted, but festival-goers are welcome to bring picnic baskets and lawn chairs.

NORWESCAP is a nonprofit community action agency that creates opportunities for more than 30,000 low-income people in northwest New Jersey by providing a large portfolio of self-sufficiency and emergency services. The Arc, Warren County Chapter, provides support and service to more than 1,100 county-area residents whose lives have been touched by intellectual and related developmental disabilities.

For tickets, preferred parking, and sponsor information, please contact Kevin Guyette at The Arc at 908.689.7525 ext.212 or Patrick Grogan at NORWESCAP at 908.454.7000 ext.110. Information may also be obtained by visiting www.grandharvestmusicfestival.com.
