Centenary Stage Company’s Front Porch Series is finishing up with a free performance of “Songs of Summer”, a Twilight Cabaret on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. on the front lawn of 400 Jefferson Street, Hackettstown.

Seating is on a first come first serve basis and is bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Reservations are encouraged. Donations are appreciated. “Songs of Summer”, will feature a selection of songs to compliment a summer evening. The production will feature of Centenary students, alumni, and Centenary Stage Company favorites.

Featured vendors are Jersey Girl Brewing and Marley’s Gotham Grill as featured vendors. A valid ID must be presented at the check-in for the event in order to buy alcohol.

An encore performance of will be on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. at Sussex County Community College 1 College Hill Road, Newton, without Jersey Girl Brewing and Marley’s Gotham Grill as vendors.

The Front Porch Series was developed as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic to continue offering family friendly performing arts programming to the communit. After a successful first season of outdoor events the program quickly became a popular staple.

The Centenary Stage Company box office is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and two hours prior to all performances in the Lackland Performing Arts Center.
