There will be Clouds in My Coffee – and more – at the Inn at Millrace Pond in Hope on Friday Nov. 9.
The beautiful songs of Carole King and Carly Simon will be performed by Anne Mironchik and her band in a special evening of music.
The Inn at Millrace Pond is located in historic Hope, minutes from Routes 80 (exit 12) and 46.
Mironchik will sing the classic favorites of both King and Simon, such as “You’re So Vain,” and “The Right Thing to Do” by Carly, and “I Feel the Earth Move,” and “It’s Too Late” by Carole. She’ll also play selected tunes by artists who they wrote for and who wrote with them, like the Beatles, James Taylor, and Michael McDonald.
“These are tunes that we love and remember, or maybe are discovering for the first time, and have influenced today’s songwriters,” said Mironchik. “I so enjoy performing them. They are beautiful and heart-warming.”
Mironchik, who plays piano, will be backed up by Steve Kesselhaut, Bass, Vocals; Bill Privette, Guitar, Vocals; and Jim Lebbad, Drums.
Dinner hour starts at 6:30, show at 8 p.m. Reservations highly recommended. Tickets are just $15 per person.
