The House of the Good Shepherd is looking to make seniors as savvy as possible!
The Hackettstown retirement community this month is launching the first in a series of interactive seminars intended to help seniors navigate a variety of issues that they face. The series is open to the public with advanced registration. The first seminar will be via Zoom, with hopes that in-person seminars will be added in the future.
The series kicks off on Tuesday, April 27, at 10 a.m.
Presented by Angela Verdi, COTA/L CPT, Director of Rehabilitation at The House, the initial seminar will focus on timely senior health and wellness issues.
“We are excited about this new series,” said Sue Lanza, CEO of The House. ” It’s not only an opportunity for our residents to key in on issues close to them, but the community at-large.”
Advanced registration is required to participate, but the session is completely free. To register, please call 908-684-5722 or email cmclaughlin@hotgs.org.
The House is located at 798 Willow Grove Street and offers public programming and an array of living options for seniors, from independent and assisted living to skilled nursing care. They also offer short term post-hospital stays, all in a beautiful setting along the bank of the Musconetcong River.
