Rutherfurd Hall is offering parent and child activities on Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The combined activities are painting and baking. From 1 to 2:30 p.m. aspiring artists of all ages will learn to paint a 12” wooden turkey centerpiece. The cost, with all supplies included, is $25.
From 2:30 to 4 p.m. a professional baker will guide parents and children through making an apple pie and also help with decorating Thanksgiving cookies. Participants can take home a mini-apple pie. The cost for both painting and baking is $40.
Rutherfurd Hall is also offering a few kids-only activities, baking, painting and Thanksgiving-themed games. The cost for games is $10 and games and painting is $30. Sign up is required by Sunday, Nov. 21. www.rutherfurdhall.org.
Planning for Christmas
Turning to Christmas-related activities, Rutherfurd Hall is presenting “A Christmas Carol” in dinner theater format on Friday, Dec. 17.
There will be two shows including dinner, coffee, dessert and the show. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the 5:30 show and 8:30 for the 9 p.m. show. Cost for just the show is $50. Cost for two tickets for the dinner/show is $200.
