Rutherfurd Hall’s spring schedule of activities is aplenty, starting with Easter Creative Fun on Thursday, April 14.Easter Cookie Decorating will be from 1:05 to 2:20 p.m. and Easter Bunny Pallet Painting will be from 2:20 to 3:20 p.m. Register at rutherfurdhall.org.

Also on April 14, Spring Gnomes are highlighted. Adults and children will get a chance to plain spring gnomes at Rutherfurd Hall on Thursday, April 14.

The adult paint and sip class will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Adults may bring wine and snacks as they learn how to paint the gnome on a 16 by 20 inch stretched canvas with acrylic paint. All supplies are included

Children will pain from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Their gnome will be on a 12 by 12 inch stretched canvas painted with acrylic paint. All ages and abilities are welcome but children under 7-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.

Another paint and sip class will be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Adults will paint a bouquet on 16 by 20 inch canvas with acrylic pain.

A special Mother’s Day program on May 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. will enable children to paint a glass vase and create a card.

Spring Cooking Session

A Spring Cooking Session will be presented by ChefItUp2GoSussexCounty for six weeks. The workshop will feature cooking with fresh herbs and spring fruits and vegetables. No nuts will be involved. Students will make dips, salsas, salads, pies and more. The dates are Thursdays April 28, May 5, 12, 19, and 26 and June 2, from 3:20 to 4:20 p.m. The classes are for ages 6 through 14. Cost is $100 per child and registration is at rutherfurdhall.org on the calendar page.

Kids’ Fishing Club

The first ever Rutherfurd Hall fishing club will teach children in grades 3 through 8 the basics, etiquette, tips and tricks that make fishing fun.

The cost of The Big Catch Fishing Club is $45 per student. There are four after-school Monday sessions, May 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 3:20 to 4 p.m.

Also for kids are four classes from ART-stitution. Children in grade kindergarten through 4 will work in various media from on Thursdays May 5 through 26. Register at Rutherfurdhall.com
