Rutherfurd Hall’s holiday celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hall, 1686 County Route 517, Allamuchy.

The event is free but donations to support Rutherfurd Hall’s mission are accepted.

Children can have photos taken with Santa during the entire celebration. Holiday story time is 10:30 a.m.; a dance performance is at 11 a.m., holiday crafts run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bingo with prizes is at noon. Lunches and baked goods will be for sale.

The event is sponsored by John Johnson Auto Group and Village Family Clinic.

Parents Night Out

Rutherfurd Hall will allow parents to spend a kid-free evening getting ready for Christmas on Friday, Dec. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m.

For $50 for the first child and $35 for each sibling, kids will do an art project with ARTstitution of Hackettstown, watch a movie, “The Grinch” and have a pizza party. Rutherfurd Hall is at 1686 County Route 517. To register, go to info@RutherfurdHall.org or call 908-852-1894 x338.

Wine Glass Painting

Rutherfurd Hall rings in the holiday craft season on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. with a class in painting wine glasses.

Participants will learn to paint snow man wine glasses from the professionals at Art-stitution in Hackettstown. The cost is $35 for two wine glasses and all supplies. BYOB is encouraged and participants may bring snacks.
