As a kickoff to The House of Good Shepherd’s recent affiliation with FellowshipLIFE, an annual golf outing is taking on new meaning.
Riverwalk Village at The House of the Good Shepherd’s Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday Sept. 25 at Panther Valley Golf & Country Club. A full day of golf includes breakfast and registration at 8:30 a.m. and an awards dinner afterwards.
The FellowshipLIFE Foundation will continue to honor The House of Good Shepherd’s communities’ heritages and uniqueness of Riverwalk Village at the event which will help support new enhancements and amenities planned for the Hackettstown active older adult community.
FellowshipLIFE and Riverwalk Village at The House of Good Shepherd are committed to inspiring a better life for older adults and the golf outing is a way to help do that through the generosity of golfers and sponsors.
“This is a fantastic event that everyone looks forward to,” said Sue Lanza, Executive Director at Riverwalk Village. “Panther Valley is the premier golf club in Northwest Jersey and this is an opportunity for many people to play the course who might otherwise not get the chance.”
Proceeds from the event raised will fall under the Life Enrichment Fund for Riverwalk Village at The House of the Good Shepherd. This will help to ensure that FellowshipLIFE, and the residents who live in the Hackettstown community have the best programs, services, and facilities, which would not be otherwise possible without donor support.
