The House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community in Hackettstown celebrated the grand opening of its new Riverside Courtyard in a ceremony held on April 22. This new courtyard, which overlooks the Musconetcong River and Stephens State Park, provides a beautiful outdoor living space and includes amenities like a gazebo, dining tables, a putting green, and a shuffleboard court. The new courtyard provides the perfect venue to host activities and events for residents and their families, or to simply spend some quiet time with nature. Taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony were, L-R, Tarcila Sutterly (Independent Resident Council President), Hackettstown Mayor Maria DiGiovanni, Judy Kilgore (Board Treasurer), David Sullivan (Board Chairperson), Deborah Beards (CEO), Joanne Ward (Director of Nursing), Ron Karl (Building and Grounds Manager), and Dave Woods (Director of Development).
