Jack Reinhard clearly is one of Warren Community College’s major success stories.
And on Nov. 5 at the Warren County Hall of Fame banquet, the WFMZ-69 news reporter will be recognized with the Foundation Alumni Award.
Reinhard’s passion for television began in high school while attending Warren County Technical School where he was part of the school’s Television, Radio and Digital Media program. He then earned his Associate in Arts Degree at Warren Community College and later a Bachelor of Arts degree at Centenary University.
While at WCC, he not only interned at WFMZ, but he also spent time as a multimedia journalist with the Warren County NJ-based news website Inside Warren, where his work earned multiple awards from the Garden State Journalists Association. He also shot numerous videos for the college.
“While he was here you knew right away that Jack would be going places,” said Dr. Will Austin, President of WCC. “He demonstrated enormous talent. There was no doubt he had the skills, the confidence and the drive to attain his goals.”
Reinhard has been employed as part of the WFMZ-69 News team since June 2021. Prior to WFMZ he spent two years in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area with FOX56 News. During his time there, Reinhard covered everything from breaking news and crime to politics and the Little League World Series. He even had an opportunity to hitch a ride on a Goodyear blimp. His extensive reporting on the 2020 Presidential race in the battleground state of Pennsylvania included one-on-one interviews with Vice President Mike Pence, Rudy Giuliani, U.S. Senator Bob Casey and House Minority WHIP Steve Scalise.
The Hall of Fame banquet is open to the public. For tickets, go to https://conta.cc/3RPYbo7. For additional information on tickets and sponsorships, please email samir@warren.edu.
