“Reflect” on Irish History with Songs, Stories March 10

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early as Centenary Stage Company presents Reflections: Ireland in Song and Story featuring Irish Tenor Tim Smith on Sunday, March 10, at 3 p.m. in the Lackland Performing Arts Center.

Reflections: Ireland in Song and Story is a tapestry of Irish song, story, and cultural lore examining the themes of religion, emigration, the Troubles, and more. Irish tenor Timothy Liam Smith and his ensemble takes us on a journey ranging from Moore to Yeats to modern musicians and storytellers.

Smith has been a stage performer since the age of five. Appearing in America and Europe for more than 50 years, his credits include dozens of television commercials, independent films, television pilots, regional theater and opera, and more than 30 years of Irish tenor performances. He was a regular performer with the Celtic Theater Company in residence at Seton Hall University for many years. Outside of the theater, Tim has been a councilman and Mayor in Roxbury Township and owns and operates a financial services company.

Reflections: Ireland in Song and Story will be held in the Sintik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, on Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for all seats in advance. Add $5 the day of the performance.
