Hello Inside Warren readers! We’ve made it to May and music festival season is kicking into high gear so break out your flip flops and sun block and follow me to Muses in the Vineyard on May 14 at Brook Hollow Winery in Columbia, NJ! The views from the back patio are breathtaking and the wines are terrific. Add live music to that and you have a perfect way to spend a Saturday. I’m looking forward to seeing Susan Werner, Rachael Sage, Kathy Moser, and Emily Barnes. Find out the schedule at www.musesinthevineyard.com.
Moving to the end of the month, the Rutherfurd Hall Foundation presents “Women on the Watch,” a series of WOW talks at Rutherfurd Hall, Rt. 517, Allamuchy. The inaugural event is May 31 with networking and a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m.
Deirdre Bryant-Worth will speak at 7 p.m. The WRNJ radio personality and former ABC newscaster is well-known across northwest New Jersey. She will discuss “How Did You Get That Job? The Single Decision That Can Change Everything.”
Finally, even though it’s not in Warren County, I can’t leave out the Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival, Memorial Day weekend at Mountain View Park in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania. An easy drive from Warren County, the festival May 26-29 features Bluegrass pickers from all over the country, on-site camping, food and craft vendors, and if you have an acoustic guitar that needs a little work, Brothers Music Shop will be on hand to take care of you so bring it along. More information at www.windgapbluegrass.com
Time for me to dust off my favorite lawn chair, festival hat, my personal wine glass and hit the musical road!
