The Washington Business Improvement District is teaming up with the Washington Library to host free storytimes in the Downtown Pocket Park starting on Wednesday, July 22, and continuing on Wednesdays, July 29, and Aug. 5. Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m.

Geared towards younger children, it is recommended that children and their parents bring lawn chairs, and light snacks if they wish. Some eateries in town will offer special kids’ snack packs. Books that will be read include “The Duckling Gets a Cookie!?,” “Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes,” and “The Bear Ate Your Sandwich.” For more information visit www.washingtonbid.org.
