Land of Make Believe Feels ‘Pirates Fury’

A new ride was recently unveiled at Hope Township’s iconic Land of Make Believe and has the family friendly amusement park feeling the fury of pirates!  Marking the opening of the new ride, “Pirates Fury”, pictured below were (l-r), Land of Make Believe owners Christopher Maier, far left and Maria Maier, on right, with Hope Area Chamber of Commerce Vice President Frank Van Horn and NJ State Assemblyman John DiMaio. The new ride takes family members of all ages on the high seas as the ship rocks back and forth as if stormy waves are in the ocean. The Land of Make Believe, with rides for the whole family on “land” and “water”, remains open daily through Labor Day Weekend and the season finale weekend of Sept.9-10.
