“Piano in the Parlour,” the 2019 Summer Jazz Series at Rutherfurd Hall, kicks off next Friday with the Rio Clemente Trio!

A master jazz pianist, composer and music director who has performed at the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, NJPAC, and even the White House, Rio Clemente holds his audiences spellbound with the sheer brilliance of his improvisations and unique fusions of classical passagework with jazz.

The performance will be Friday, July 19, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $22.50 in advance or $27.50 at the door or attend all three concerts for only $60.

The three-part series will continue with The Bill Mays Trio Aug. 23, and then close the season with The David Leonhardt Trio with Nancy Reed on Sept. 13.
