Oxford Central School was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the New Jersey League of Municipalities Foundation. This grant was awarded to help close the connectivity and technology gap in the district.

The grant was funded by the Wal-Mart Corporation and was a direct partnership between the Oxford Township School District and the Oxford Township Committee.  Mayor Jerry Norton, Deputy Mayor Georgette Miller and Committee Member Bob Nyland worked with Oxford Central School’s Chief School Administrator, Bob Magnuson, to put together the grant application that was selected from applications across New Jersey.

Funds have already been used to purchase new Chromebooks for students!
