Warren County and area students will benefit from A Night of Laughs in Flanders on March 10.

The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group is hosting the networking and comedy night at the Corner Pub on Route 206 to benefit the Chamber’s scholarship fund.

Each year, the Chamber awards four scholarships: one each to seniors at Hackettstown and Mount Olive High Schools, as well as one each for Warren County and Morris County community college students.

Local comedian Sean Gaffney will also be featured.

The event opens with a networking event from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., which includes appetizers. The show will follow directly.

Headlining the comedy evening is New Jersey native Zach Sharif, a fast rising comedian in the tri-state area and New York City. Sean Gaffney, of Flanders, is also a featured comedian. He has opened for names including Gilbert Gottfried, Rich Vos, and Ben Bailey. Chad Peterson of Hackettstown will emcee.

The cost of the event is only $15 and includes the appetizer & networking hour and the comedy show.

The Young Professionals Group is intended for business people 40 and younger, but all of their events are open to any professional regardless of age. The group’s networking events are a great way for area professionals – attendees do not need to be a member of MOACC or even live or work in Mount Olive – to get to know like-minded people from a variety of industries.
