The Warren County Community Singers are gearing up for a new season.
New singers are welcome to join this non-audition group.
The first rehearsal of the 2018-2019 season will be Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Presbyterian Church, 40 Church Street, Washington. Registration for new and returning singers begins at 7 p.m. The music fee is $55.
Winterfest of Song will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, and Sunday, Dec. 9. The Saturday evening concert will be at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg, and the Sunday afternoon concert will be at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 40 Church Street, Washington.
The Warren County Children’s Chorus under the direction of Mariah Adams, assisted by Laura Rader, will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, Oct. 9. The children’s chorus is open to children ages 7 through 8th grade with unchanged voices. Music fee is $25 with discounts for participation by more than one child in a family. Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Singers will present their annual Cabaret Café on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church. The Cabaret is an evening of performances by soloists and small groups with refreshments in an informal setting in the church’s fellowship hall.
Warren County Community Singers is conducted by Hunter Chadeayne. Accompanist is Ann Hoyt.
The group is partially funded through a grant from the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
