The nutritional benefits of mushrooms will be the topic of “Focus on Funghi,” a virtual event sponsored by the Warren County Library on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m.

Mushrooms are low fat and low calorie and possess an impressive nutritional profile. They serve many medicinal functions such as antioxidant and antiviral properties.

Attention Writers!

Aspiring writers can strengthen existing skills and learn new ones in a series of virtual writers workshops sponsored by the Warren County library.

Two dates have been set, Thursdays, Sept. 16 and 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. More dates will be added. Each workshop will focus on a different skill such as outline, plot structure and genre. Outdoor Concert with The Outcrops

The Warren County Library will sponsor a free outdoor concert at the Gazebo at the Catherine Dickson Hofman branch, 4 Lambert Road, Blairstown, on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 p. m.

The Outcrops, a blues-inspired rock and roll band will play.
