The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce strives to help local business owners and professionals make the best of the market and their potential by offering events targeting every area of business. In May, two separate events will allow local professionals time to gather advice and provide their own insight.
The May meeting of the Women in Business group, on Tuesday, May 14, will be a business roundtable format, allowing for business professionals to discuss challenges and successes, share ideas, and gain insight, all in a relaxed atmosphere. Women – and men – are welcome to attend. The moderator for the evening will be Linda Smith, Sales Associate at RE/MAX Heritage Properties.
Then, that Thursday, May 16, MOACC will follow up with the Second Annual May Marketing Madness Symposium. Free for Chamber members and Mount Olive High School students, or $20 for guests, the symposium will explore ways to use digital marketing to grow business alongside more traditional routes. The event includes tips from the area’s top marketers and allows time for questions and answers. Speakers include Rich Mistkowski, Marblehead Marketing; Dan Hirshberg, CHP Communications; Felicia Lucco, Your Cyber Partner; Claudia Ehrgott, Graphic Image; and John Tully, Delta Strategic Marketing. The event will be moderated by Patti Singer of Follow Me Social Media. Pre-registration is required. The Symposium will be held at Mount Olive High School (18 Corey Road, Flanders) from 5:30-8 p.m. It includes a light dinner, raffle, and giveaways.
The Women in Business discussion will take place at the Holiday Inn Budd Lake (1000 International Drive, Budd Lake) from 5:30-8 p.m. Online Registration for Members is $20; Non-Members $25; add $5 at the door. A light dinner is provided with cost of registration. The Women in Business group meets the second Tuesday of each month.
