Two of the most renowned comedians in the tri-state area will bring a power punch of comedy to the Investors Bank Theater in Succasunna on Saturday night Jan. 20.
Coach Tom Whiteley headlines and Rich Walker is the power feature act for the Roxbury Arts Alliance’s Winter Comedy Night. Show time is 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30. Local favorite and Hackettstown resident Chad Peterson will be the night’s emcee.
A former college and high school football coach, Coach Tom Whiteley has made a name for himself in another profession as one of the funniest men “on or off the field.”
The Coach brings his unique and hilarious comedy to the Investors Bank Theater at Horseshoe Lake, located at 72 Eyland Avenue..
Whitely has been on ESPN, has opened for Joe Piscopo, appeared on the Chris Rock Show, has been showcased on many star-studded revues and has played all the big comedy rooms around the country, including Catch A Rising Star and the Borgata.
The Coach offers amusing takes on his former coaching career as well as his other life experiences, many of which, he says, “everybody can relate to!” Whiteley, whose on stage antics are second to none and also coached baseball, professes that his No. 1 love now is comedy!
In many respects Rich Walker is a headliner as well. One of the most versatile performers around, has shared the stage with some of show business’s biggest names such as Ray Romano, Kevin James, Dom Irrera and Johnny Maestro the Brooklyn Bridge.
Walker makes fun of everyday predicaments everybody gets into, from odd shopping situations to marriage and kids. In Rich Walker you’ll see a little Lou Costello with a twist of Buddy Hackett. He’s a throw-back to when showbiz performers were “fun loving” entertainers. He’s the perfect entertainer for all ages.
