Keeping its longstanding tradition of recognizing those who dedicate their time and energy into making Hope so great, the Land of Make Believe will offer FREE admission for Hope Residents to the family amusement park on July 4th! Celebrate the nation’s birthday on Sunday, July 4, when Land of Make Believe “Salutes the Volunteers of Hope Township,” from sports coaches and Scout leaders to members of the Hope Volunteer Fire Department , and those serving on the town’s boards and committees.

This annual tradition is to bring attention to all the town’s volunteers and THANK THEM on behalf of everyone who lives and works in Hope. 

This offer is only for Hope residents and PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED by July 1. Residents may register starting on June 28 by contacting Hope Township from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at 908-459-5011, Ext.1. Only those pre-registered by July 1 will be admitted free on July 4. 

“This town is so rich in volunteerism and community spirit; it makes Hope a very special place to live and work,” said Christopher Maier,  owner of Land of Make Believe. “We love to use this important holiday as an opportunity to show appreciation to Hope residents who seek to improve and keep Hope so wonderful.” 

Maier added, “We also use this day to recognize the members of the United States Armed Forces for their service and all they do for us.” 

Land of Make Believe opens at 10 a.m. each day.  The water park and dry land activities are included, including all rides, shows and attractions at what has been called the ” #1 Family Amusement Park in North Jersey.” The park has free parking and families are invited to bring their own food for a picnic or purchase food at the park.
