Pull out your lederhosen, it’s time for a special Oktoberfest celebration at the Inn at Millrace Pond!

Kick off the Oktoberfest season with the Inn on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., when they host an afternoon of music, food, and beer.

Featuring a biergarten full of German-style beer and a special menu offering traditional German fare, this event will take advantage of ideal autumnal weather for a last outdoor hoorah under the big tent on the inn grounds.

Country rock band Kinderhook, fresh off its show at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, brings its fun loving style to the Oktoberfest festivities.

The music event is free to attend, but beer and food are additional charges. Reservations are recommended.

The event will be rain or shine.
