President Dale Caldwell, Ed.D., appoints senior executive with extensive experience in business, education, and government to key leadership position
Centenary University President Dale Caldwell, Ed.D., has appointed Jordan Glatt as vice president for advancement and special assistant to the president. A resident of Summit, NJ, Glatt has extensive experience in business, education, and government, driving results for organizations ranging from startups to global brands.
“As the new president of Centenary University, I have assembled a talented team that is poised to bring this University to a new level of prominence,” said Dr. Caldwell, who assumed the presidency of Centenary on July 1. “Jordan Glatt is a well-respected entrepreneur and public servant. His dynamic background in developing effective strategic initiatives will make a tremendous impact at Centenary as we shape the next era at this University.”
Glatt most recently served as special assistant to the president for strategic partnerships at Felician University, as well as director of strategic partnerships for the Community Foundation of New Jersey. In the for-profit sector, he was the chief marketing officer and director of Free All Media LLC, charged with developing a first-of-its kind business model and identifying investors for a social media ad startup. Glatt was also the longtime president and CEO of Magla Products, an international consumer products company providing nationally branded goods to leading hardware, grocery, and drug retailers including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Lowes, and Target.
He has also made a significant impact in local and state government. In his current role as the first New Jersey Shared Services Co-Czar, Glatt was appointed by Gov. Phil Murphy to lead a statewide initiative to reduce costs and lower property taxes through the implementation of shared services agreements among towns and county agencies. Glatt also served for eight years as mayor of Summit, where he was previously a common councilman at large.
A graduate of Drew University, Glatt has participated in advanced educational opportunities at Harvard Business School.
