The Jewish Center of Northwest Jersey, located in Washington, recently honored long-time congregation – and board – member, Jeff Berkowitz, for his many years of service to the temple. In the photo, congregation member Jecee Gosman presents Berkowitz with a resolution from the State of New Jersey recognizing him for his outstanding volunteerism and leadership with the temple. The resolution was arranged by legislators in the 23rd District, of which Washington is a part: State Sen. Michael Doherty, and Assemblymen John DiMaio and Erik Peterson.
