It will be a toe-tapping good time this weekend at Rutherfurd Hall as Houston Person with the Dave Leonhardt Trio take the stage!

This Sunday, Dec. 9, savor the sweet sounds of award-winning tenor jazz saxophonist & record producer, Houston Person.  He will be accompanied by the Dave Leonhardt Trio.

The concert runs 3-5 p.m. in the historical mansion.

Global performer Houston Person is known for his trademark soulful hard bop sound, but the talented musician has also recorded everything from disco and gospel to pop and R&B. He has shared the stage with such greats as the late Etta James.

Jazz pianist David Leonhardt has more than 45 years’ experience in the business, touring worldwide with some of jazz’s biggest names. Joining him is bassist Matthew Parrish and percussionist Colby Inzer.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Advanced tickets can be purchased on the Rutherfurd Hall website or in-person at Mama’s Café Baci in Hackettstown or Panther Valley Pharmacy in Allamuchy.
