Autumn’s beauty doesn’t need a beautiful sunny clear day to set the colors off! As a matter of fact, Autumn’s beauty, may also be captured and enjoyed, on a mostly cloudy day, JUST LOOK AT MY PHOTOS THIS WEEK! These photos are from my archives taken almost a year ago on October 31, 2021.
I was out and about, just roaming around, on one of my “Looking for Stuff” road trips. The weather earlier had been fifty percent sun/clouds offering some nice photo opportunities, but was now, 90% overcast with a very infrequent blast of sunlight, which would, highlight a small portion of the panorama!
This series of photos was taken while driving along Mt. Pleasant Road in Blairstown after just passing by Lakota Wolf Preserve. At this stage of my journey I was actually looking more for wildlife. HOWEVER, I was also hoping for some rays of sunlight to highlight the mountains along the road. Taking my photos, I became aware that even without the sunlight the beautiful hues of gold, orange, yellow and browns all were beautifully showcased and framed by the dark gray clouds. And every once in awhile I would get that focused blast of sunlight giving that special effect/moment to the panorama.
Hope you enjoy the subdued Autumn Extravaganza!! REMEMBER, Autumn is beautiful no matter what the weather or where you are!
